Going on Volunteer Mission
MEP Volunteer Service sends and has been sending since15 years, 150 young people, between20 to 30 years of age, each year, for missions lasting from 3 months to 2 years. Sent for the service of the Churchin Asia and Madagascar, MEP volunteers spread the love they receive, throughtheir work, their encounters and their service, and give meaning to Christ’s words : “Ifyou have lovefor one another, then every one will know that you are my disciples” John 13, 35. Leaving on mission as MEP Volunteer means :
VolunteerServiceis not a decision to be taken lightly. To discuss it, the Volunteer Service is ready to welcome anyone who wishes to learn what MEP proposes, by meeting them during the various events we participate in, or during the AfterWorks of the 124, by reading the numerous testimonies, etc.
Training and preparation for the departure. A week of training is required to allow a cultural, personal, spiritual and practical training. There are 4 training weeks per year.

° For 3 to 12 months following other modalities.
Departures are done throughout theyear following the availability of the volunteer and the needs of the mission.
Being accompanied. In the field,volunteer keeps a close contact with his or her mission incharge, but also MEP priests in the mission. Volunteer must also make regular reports to analyze his or her mission.
Reviewyour experience by participating in a ‘feedback weekend’. Three weekends are proposed per year.
MEP Volunteer Service sends you on missions of education, teaching, animation, management of projects, health service, communication… You are sent for theservice of the Church and the needy, in communities, with the religious, in schools, dioceses, missions, religious associations, etc., sharing their everyday life.
